The Piranta-Grizzly skinning knife features new grip-enhancing ridges along the top and bottom of the handle. If you need a lightweight hunting knife for the tough job of skinning big game, you can trust the Piranta-Grizzly. This is the only knife in our scrimshaw-style series that has the new grip ridges. It’s easier to use in field dressing and skinning, especially when things get a bit slippery.
This knife fits three blade sizes: #60XT, #60A and #22XT.
The Piranta-Grizzly carries a handsome scrimshaw-style laser etching of the Ursus Arctos Horribilis, better known as the Grizzly Bear. Your purchase includes 12 additional stainless steel #60XT replaceable blades, 2-3/4" in length. The overall length open is 7-1/4". Features an ABS plastic handle, ambidextrous thumb studs for one-hand opening, liner lock, lanyard opening and removable pocket clip.

A. The Piranta knives weigh 2 ounces. Add the holster and 12 additional blades and the weight becomes 3 1/4 ounces.
Q. How long does a blade last?
A. The life of the edge is based mostly on the user's skill level. We have heard from customers that two blades were needed to process three large Elk and one blade was used to process a 7' 10" bear.
