Thanks for the opportunity to utilize the Havalon Piranta-Edge. My first real opportunity to utilize the knife was on a recent Black Bear trip to Forestville, Quebec. Six other bow hunters and myself spent seven wonderful days in the woods, taking seven nice Black Bears by archery method.

The Piranta-Edge performed better than I expected. The light-weight design and extremely sharp blades made quick and easy work of caping out the skulls of all seven bears. Only two blades were utilized for all seven.

I would recommend this knife to anyone wanting a precision instrument in trophy hide management. I would have expected it to be more expensive!
