The "Stallion" delivers the same outstanding blade of AUS-8A stainless steel seen on the "Titan." It has been cryogenically tempered after heat treatment to -300 degrees Farenheit by the master knife makers at Gigand. This extreme tempering gives both the Stallion and the Titan the longest-lasting edge that's possible in a stainless steel fixed-blade knife. The handle is a 4-1/2" rugged die cast aluminum frame with a matte finish in silver. There is no pocket clip on the back of this knife.

Each 4-1/2" blade is engraved with Fred Carter's signature. This model features a plain edge, no serrations. If you don't know, Dr. Carter has been a custom knifemaker for over thirty-five years. He's held many offices in the Knifemakers Guild including two terms as President. Over the years he has won many significant awards for his knives, including twice winning the W.W. Cronk award for Best Knife of the Knifemakers Guild Show.
