A Great Back-Up Knife to Wear Around Your Neck
As a wise addition to your self-defense plans, wear a "Guardian" around your neck. The Guardian blade is 4-1/4" of AUS-8A stainless steel, with an HRC of 57-58. The blade is a super strong 4 mm thick. The handle and scabbard are durable ABS black plastic. The 4" knife handle hangs downward when you wear it around your neck, ready to be pulled out at a moment's notice. Hi-power magnets inside the scabbard secure the blade until you need it. The neck lanyard is adjustable to wear short on your chest or long around and under your arm. The scabbard also features a belt clip. Designed by Fred Carter and manufactured by Gigand.

Q. How much does the Piranta weigh?
A. The Piranta knives weigh 2 ounces. Add the holster and 12 additional blades and the weight becomes 3 1/4 ounces.
Q. How long does a blade last?
A. The life of the edge is based mostly on the user's skill level. We have heard from customers that two blades were needed to process three large Elk and one blade was used to process a 7' 10" bear.
