The Havalon Piranta knife uses a framelock construction. Always make certain the knife is fully open and locked before use!

To unlock the knife, apply outward pressure with your thumb to the frame at location (B) until the knife blade rotates freely to close. The framelock is located on the backside just under the pocket clip.

If you have any problems with the framelock, call us for a possible replacement.
